Who uses these DVDs and cook book?

  • Persons who have cooked for years – still discover new tips and techniques (they love the book)
  • Young persons learning to cook – especially 2nd year University students who are now cooking their own meals
  • Persons and families living within a tight budget - with limited equipment - little time for meal making
  • Young children and teens like to watch the DVDs – learn and try out recipes

How might they be used by Community Social Service Agencies?

  • Agencies that have interest groups - cooking classes – as an aid in their teaching programs
  • Service Clubs, agencies and individuals - provide the DVD Program free of charge to selected clients
  • All public libraries in Simcoe County - use the DVD program in their collections for lending purposes.

Are donations accepted?
Yes – we welcome help from all sources. This is a not-for-profit program to give families a “hand-up” not a “hand-out”. A $100 donation will provide a family with the complete set of DVDs and the accompanying cookbook. Any sum is acceptable and income tax receipts are available.
