Message from the Chair – Janet Humphrey
Welcome to the latest issue of the Simcoe County Nutrition Network (SCNN) e-bulletin. The e-bulletin is sent out to update the community on local food initiatives and food security issues.
SCNN’s membership includes local agencies, community groups and interested individuals who pool resources and share ideas to reduce barriers to healthy eating. We network on issues that affect food supply, individual food access, limited food budgets or preparation skills. All bring ideas, commitment, energy and expertise to projects that make a difference in their communities.
I welcome you to read about the interesting food-related projects going on in our communities and I encourage you to become involved through the project contacts provided with each article.
If you are interested in becoming involved with SCNN or have any other questions that we can address please contact me at the following email address. simcoecountynutritionnetwork@gmail.com
